AutoX is at the forefront of L4 autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in self-driving cars. Our simulation/evaluation org plays a crucial role in accelerating development and evaluation of advanced algorithms that power the future of transportation.
We’re seeking talented, motivated and experienced software engineers to join our simulation/evaluation org. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge simulation environments that help train and validate our self-driving car systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and optimize SceneGen framework to fully automatically generate hybrid or synthetic scenarios
- Scale up SceneGen to generate high quality scenarios in large scale simulation
- Integrate AI/ML models in SceneGen framework to increase realism of generated scenarios
- Define quality and realism metrics and implement methodologies to evaluate the quality/realism of generated scenarios
- Integrate SceneGen in cloud simulation and hardware-in-loop simulation platforms
- Collaborate with Eval teams to create SceneGen based eval workflows for targeted onboard problem clusters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in modern C++
- Experiences of designing and developing production level software products
- Experiences of building virtual world in C++
- Excellent communication and team work
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experiences of building AV simulation products
- Hands-on experiences of applied AI/ML products
- Experiences leading cross-functional projects
