We’re seeking a talented and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer.

Locations:

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$400k USD)
Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of high-speed digital circuits for advanced automotive applications, including processors, memory, and high-bandwidth interfaces.
  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, and design reviews for high-speed systems.
  • Validate designs through simulations (SI/PI/EMI) and laboratory testing using oscilloscopes, VNA, TDR, and similar tools.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards for signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC performance.
  • Lead debugging efforts for high-speed digital systems in both lab and field environments.
  • Stay updated on emerging high-speed digital technologies and recommend innovative design approaches.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in high-speed digital design, including high-frequency clocking, DDR memory, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and SerDes interfaces.
  • Proficiency with simulation tools for signal integrity and power integrity, such as HyperLynx, HFSS, or CST.
  • Familiarity with PCB stack-up design, impedance control, and via modeling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of power delivery network (PDN) optimization for high-speed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware validation and troubleshooting using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, and TDRs.
Preferences:
  • Knowledge of automotive-grade hardware design and standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q200.
  • Experience with high-speed FPGA and SoC integration in automotive systems.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques in high-speed designs.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or other PCB design tools.
  • Experience in automotive communication interfaces such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN-FD, and LVDS.
