We’re seeking a talented and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Infotainment Systems team.

Locations:

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$400k USD)
Responsibilities:
  • Design, development, and validation of infotainment system hardware, including cockpit domain controller motherboard, audio systems, and connectivity modules.
  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs for infotainment-related components.
  • Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting of infotainment motherboard to meet automotive-grade quality and reliability standards.
  • Optimize infotainment systems for performance, power consumption, and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in automotive infotainment and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in automotive electronics design, including digital and analog circuit design.
  • Experience with infotainment systems, audio systems, or multimedia hardware development.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, MOST, and automotive Ethernet.
  • Skilled in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and EMI/EMC regulations.
Preferences:
  • Experience with Android Automotive or other automotive infotainment platforms.
  • Knowledge of automotive display and audio system architectures.
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
  • Hands-on experience with power management design and integration for infotainment systems.
  • Proficiency in hardware debugging and validation at the vehicle level.
