Software Development Engineer in Test

We’re seeking skilled and dedicated engineers to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining the robust testing frameworks and pipelines that ensure the quality and stability of our autonomous driving infrastructure.

• San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and debug the current test framework and automated tests.
• Maintain and modify the test environment and configuration as needed.
• Ensure test stability and performance.
• Develop and maintain new tests for Linux-based OS.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD processes.
• Dive deep to find problems in the product/tests.
• Communicate with development teams to establish fast and reliable testing and release processes.
• Keep test system documentation up to date.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python for writing, maintaining, and debugging test scripts.
• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation (UI and/or API automation).
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Experience with GNU/Linux OS.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and approaches (experience in Gitlab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Docker, Shell script.
• Experience working with Jenkins (scripted or declarative pipelines).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Python, Shell scripting, and common web service construction.
• Familiar with quality assurance of autonomous driving systems and infrastructure systems.
• Strong self-motivation, driven to achieve committed milestones.
• The ability to independently analyze a task and find the right solution.
