Embedded Security Engineer (Staff Level)

- San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)

Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded software primarily in C/C++ and occasionally in assembly language.
- Evaluate and integrate onboard hardware security module APIs (of HSMs on Nvidia, NXP, TI, or Infineon).
- Perform formal risk analysis and develop and verify software mitigations.
- Code review from a security perspective for C or C++ code.
Qualifications:
- Experience with C/C++ programming.
- Experience with secure boot, secure OS, and TPM development.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and arm architecture.
- Familiarity with Open Bootloader Environments (U-Boot, UEFI, etc.)
Preferences:
- Experience with NXP, and Nvidia development toolkits.
- Experience with SoC (x86, NXP, or Infineon) hardware security module APIs.
- Experience with I/O technologies and peripheral busses (e.g. Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, I2C).
- Linux system and kernel expertise on x86 and ARM architectures.
