Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document and communicate requirements for various autonomy functions, including software and hardware sub-systems;
  • Work closely with the engineering team to align the product needs and target, support failure analysis and improve the performance;
  • Responsible for one or more behavior clusters, and specify the detailed requirements and improve the system;
  • Apply the systems engineering principles and development standards in the development and validation process.
Qualifications:
  • - Degree candidate in Robotics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Physics, or related field;
  • 3+ years of experience developing requirements and/or tests for complex systems;
  • Familiar with autonomous driving systems;
  • Strong foundation in system engineering principles such as requirements definition, formal verification and validation methods, and simulation;
  • Strong documentation, data analysis and algorithmic problem-solving skills;
  • Highly collaborative in nature and comfortable working with cross functional teams.
Preferences:
  • Prior experience in autonomous vehicle safety and system engineering;
  • Proven experience to identify and act on opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
