AutoX is at the forefront of L4 autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in self-driving cars. We’re seeking talented and motivated software engineers to join our mapping and localization team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge mapping and localization algorithms and pipeline.

  • San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)
  • Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Responsibilities:
  • Develop multi-sensor based mapping pipeline.
  • Develop multi-sensor based localization algorithms and sensor fusion algorithm to achive the highest localization accuracy.
  • Develop fault-tolerant localization solutions that accommodate sensor failures and provide fallback mechanisms for the localization system.
  • Contribute to the auto-annotation pipeline.
Qualifications:
  • Master or PhD in computer science, mathematics or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in mapping and localization.
  • Strong C++ programming skills.
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Background in 3D vision, SLAM, geometric computer vision, optimization.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics.
