AutoX is at the forefront of L4 autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in self-driving cars. Our simulation/evaluation org plays a crucial role in accelerating development and evaluation of advanced algorithms that power the future of automobile.

We’re seeking talented and motivated software engineers to join our simulation/evaluation org. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge simulation environments that help train and validate our self-driving car systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and optimize simulation software for autonomous vehicles
  • Identify simulation realism gaps and priorities with data-driven approaches
  • Develop algorithms, tooling, and integrate machine learning models to improve simulation realism
  • Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists and hardware-in-the-loop team to improve simulation precision and recall
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in simulation
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
  • Experiences of designing and developing large scale distributed system, data ETL pipeline, and using SQL/No-SQL databases
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics
  • Familiarity with ROS or similar robotics middleware
  • Hands-on experiences of machine learning based application
