AutoX is at the forefront of L4 autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in self-driving cars. Our simulation/evaluation org plays a crucial role in accelerating development and evaluation of advanced algorithms that power the future of automobile.

We’re seeking talented, motivated and experienced data scientists/analysts to join our simulation/evaluation org. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantitative evaluation methodologies/workflows that help validate and evolve our self-driving car systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Sample and process large datasets from self-driving car logs to evaluate new software in simulation environment
  • Define and develop metrics for target problem clusters of onboard systems, develop statistical analysis
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and solutions of evaluating self-driving car behavior and reliability problems in simulation
  • Leading cross-functional projects to build products to enhance simulation realism, or offboard discovery and evaluation platforms
Qualifications:
  • Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in data science/analyst or related role
  • 3+ years of experiences of data sampling, quantitative evaluation and A/B testing
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large database
  • Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics
  • Experience with machine learning based data analysis
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaborations
